1 Sandra Bullock - The Proposal. Doesn't hurt to have Ryan Reynolds in there, but it was a funny movie and while it was her usual character in a way, it was original in others.
2 Angelina Jolie - Hackers, hands down. I've liked some of her others, but Hackers holds a special place in my nerd heart.
3 Kelly Hu - LOVED her as Lady Deathstrike in X2.
4 Zoe Saldana - Star Trek. 'Nuff said.
5 Judi Dench - Love her as M in the new Bond movies. She's deliciously efficient.
6 Rose Bryan - I'm going to assume she actually meant Rose Byrne - She was awesome in 28 Weeks Later. (Which also has Jeremy Renner, but that didn't influence my decision at all, really.)
7 Glenn Close - Fatal Attraction. She made crazy look good.
8 Amy Adams - Leap Year. Matthew Goode is in there, too, which is awesome, but it was a cute movie and didn't make me want to barf, which movies like that usually do.
9 Anne Hathaway - Probably The Devil Wears Prada, though I haven't seen a lot of her stuff.
10 Helena Bonham Carter - I love, love, loved her in Sweeny Todd. Even though she was a horrible murderer.
The Boys - Let me just say that quiet_elle made this bunch REALLY hard.
1 Robert Downey Jr. - I love them all, so this is a really hard pick, but I'm going to have to go with Soapdish. Such a hilarious performance.
2 Matthew Broderick - Again, how to choose? I'm going to have to go with Ladyhawke, even though his accent was terrible. It's just such a lovely movie.
3 Hugo Weaving - Again, again, so many to choose from. However, this choice is an easy one. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, for sure. I love the speech he makes at the Council.
4 Alan Rickman - While I do love Snape, I'm going to have to go with Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. His Nottingham is just delicious.
5 Gary Oldman - I really think quiet_elle is trying to kill me off, here. I'm going with The Dark Knight, though. Just because I can.
6 Leonardo DiCaprio - Meh. What's Eating Gilbert Grape, I guess.
7 Tommy Lee Jones - A classic, The Fugitive.
8 Tom Hanks - I love early, goofy Tom Hanks. Therefore, I am choosing The Man With One Red Shoe.
9 Gerard Bulter - I love him in some things and hate him in others. For this, though, I'm going with Reign of Fire.
10 Kenneth Branagh - Much Ado About Nothing. Gotta love the Shakespearian comedies.
